Mid Weight Developer Needed!

Yup, we're expanding again!

This time, we're looking for someone who's able to work with our crack team of creatives to deliver compelling web applications. You'll need to be really good with JavaScript, standards compliant HTML and SQL. You'll have to be brilliant with PHP and have experience of the Zend Framework (any other frameworks would be great - CakePHP, Symfony, Yii etc).

If successful you'll be developing sites and applications for some great B2B and B2C websites and web applications for some pretty great clients and helping to grow our suite of digital products. A very competitive salary awaits the right candidate who proves their worth.

Skills Required:
- Experience designing for WAI compliant HTML (XHTML)
- CSS 1+2 (an understanding of CSS 3 would be an asset)

- Excellent written and spoken English are essential
- Excellent PHP 5+
- 1 year+ experience with the Zend Framework (experience with other frameworks would be an asset)
- Excellent MySQL skills
- Flash AS3 not required but would be an asset
- Medium - Good Photoshop abilities

In the space of 15 mintues on Friday evening as the sun was setting these were seen from our studio. The saying did come true, Saturday was lovely!

Join our expanding web team!

We're looking for someone who's detail-orientated and design-led. You'll need to create inspirational design and code cleanly in HTML and CSS, and you should be competent with basic JavaScript too. Also, you'll need to know your way around Flash animation (we're not looking for any AS3 coders here). If successful, you'll be designing UI for some great B2B and B2C websites, creating inspired banners and interactive emarketing tools, and helping to develop our growing suite of digital products.

Mr Smith's Letterpress workshop on Creative Review

Back in August, Opus attended one of Mr Smith's letterpress workshops. Creative Review have interviewed Kelvyn as part of their Studio Visit series, watch the video to learn about his work and see his lovely workshop. Opus are currently building his new website, so watch this space!

Returning from my recent trip to Hong Kong, as customary I brought back local sweeties for the Opus team. Don't think we'll be changing from our normal choices, let's say some tasted 'interesting' at the least, but love the packaging!
